14 Apr 2025 The UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok and the UNICEF Regional Office for East Asia and the Pacific hosted a regional webinar to officially launch the Review and Assessment of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in the Education Sector (RAMES) tool.Organized under the Asia-Pacific Thematic Working Group on School Health, Nutrition and Well-being, the session brought together stakeholders from across the region to explore how education systems can better respond to the mental health and psychosocial needs of both learners and teachers. About the RAMES ToolDeveloped by UNESCO and UNICEF, the RAMES tool offers a practical framework to help Ministries of Education assess their systems' readiness and capacity to support mental health and psychosocial well-being. It aims to inform national strategies, guide policy development, and foster multi-sectoral collaboration for more inclusive, responsive education systems.
