APMED 6 Outcome Document: Recommendations from the Asia-Pacific Region

The 6th Asia-Pacific Meeting on Education 2030 (APMED 6), held from 10-13 September 2024 in Bangkok, brought together stakeholders from across the region to accelerate action towards achieving SDG4. In light of persistent challenges such as learning poverty, climate change, and inequity, this outcome document presents priority recommendations focused on transforming education systems. Key areas include strengthening foundational learning, promoting inclusive and gender-transformative education, enhancing digital and climate-resilient learning systems, and advocating for greater investment in education. These recommendations aim to shape regional and global education agendas, informing the 2024 Global Education Meeting in Brazil.
