Equity and inclusion in education in Asia Pacific: building back better and more equal

Equity and Inclusion in Education in Asia-Pacific: Building Back Better and More Equal is a policy brief developed for the 2nd Asia-Pacific Regional Education Ministers’ Conference (APREMC-II). It examines how the COVID-19 pandemic has deepened existing inequalities in education across the region, particularly for marginalized and vulnerable learners. The brief highlights key challenges, good practices from Asia-Pacific countries, and priority policy actions to support learning recovery and longer-term transformation of education systems towards greater equity, inclusion, and resilience, in line with SDG 4 and the Education 2030 Agenda.
